Sarah Richmond (Student at Law)
Sarah is pleased to be the 2011-12 articling student at Mann & Partners, LLP. Sarah is enthusiastically learning about a variety of practice areas in her rotation through Family law, Civil Litigation, Corporate/Commercial, Wills & Estates, and Real Estate. The firm’s supportive environment is providing her with a meaningful learning experience about the practical and professional aspects of becoming a lawyer.
Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Honours Specialization in English Language and Literature (with distinction) from The University of Western Ontario in 2008. She received her LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 2011.
Sarah grew up in Chatham, in southwestern Ontario, and is excited about her recent move to Ottawa. She is enjoying being an articling student member of the County of Carleton Law Association and the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations. Sarah is becoming an active Ottawa resident by getting involved in activities in the Wellington West area. She hopes to explore francophone Ottawa as a follow-up to her French Language secondary education.
Sarah enjoys a variety of sports, especially classes in yoga and running. Other interests include crafts and scrapbooking. Sarah has travelled widely, most recently to the UK where she focused on literary sites.
