André Martin is a member of the business law team at Mann & Partners, LLP. His practice areas include corporate and commercial law, business acquisitions and sales, commercial leasing, franchise law for both Franchisors and Franchisees, financing, private company securities law, technology law & licensing, and general business law.
Born in Ottawa and raised in Calgary, Andre obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Highest Honours) degree from Carleton University and his Baccalaureate of Law (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa. André was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1999. He has since practiced in small and medium-sized firm settings, as well as at the large national firm level. André uses his considerable experience to assist our business clients in an efficient, client-focused manner.
André is a member of the Greater Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, the County of Carleton Law Association and the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise.
André is a firm believer in this city and supports many local charitable groups and causes. When not otherwise donating his time, you will find him indulging in his passion for adventure sports. In winter he is an avid and dare we say, just a little extreme, downhill skier. In summer you will find him on the hills mountain biking, or out paddling on the water.
